The Mail Vote is coming in, and Harris is killing it in Florida!
SMH....Seriously, folks, take a deep breath before swallowing the advanced voting click bait this far out from Election Day.
As of this morning, 69 Republicans and 38 No Party Affiliates (NPAs), compared to 91 Democrats in Florida who have voted a successful mail ballot in the 2024 General Election. Clearly, Harris is winning Florida…
These early VBM ballot envelope returns—please note: envelopes have not been opened by county Supervisors of Elections and the ballots themselves have not been tabulated—don’t tell us anything about who’s going to win the election in Florida.
But VBM data this far out can tell us something about interest in the election, and more specifically, whether the Republican and Democratic parties and their allies are mobilizing voters to request their VBM ballots ahead of the November 5th election.
The figure below breaks down the VBM ballot requests (R) by voters, VBM ballots that have been provided (P) by SOEs, and VBM ballots that have been cancelled (C) by voters. It excludes the VBM ballots voted as valid (V) as of this morning, which have come back mainly from UOCAVA voters whose VBM ballots have already been mailed out by SOEs.
